Fedor Vrtacnik is a Slovenian composer, arranger, orchestrator, and conductor. He completed primary music school in the violin department, secondary music school in the percussion instruments and double bass departments, and the Music Academy in the music theory and pedagogy department. In 2010, he perfected his skills in a master class at Berklee College of Music, focusing on arranging and orchestration techniques under Professor Jerry Gates and in Jim Martin’s jazz arranging class. His extensive experience has afforded him the opportunity to collaborate with a wide array of esteemed symphonic orchestras and big bands across the.

He has excellent cooperation with many symphony and big band orchestras worldwide, such as the Washington Symphony Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Vienna' Choir, Virgin Productions, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Conservatorio di Musica - Cesena, Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, Salzburg Philharmonie, Philips Symphony Orchestra, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, Prague Philharmonic Orchestra,ater Dortmund, Moscow City Orchestra, Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra, Netherlands Theatre Orchestra, Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra, Armenia Philharmonic, Sarajevo Big Band, Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra, Big Band of Radio Television of Serbia, and Novosadski Big Band. Not only has he worked with foreign musicians and orchestras, but he has also cooperated with almost all pop stars from the former republics of Yugoslavia on arrangements, orchestrations, and as a conductor at various festivals, including Zdravko Čolić, Željko Joksimović, Marija Šerifović, Sergej Ćetković, Boris Režak, and Dušan Svilar.
